Yes, I do free commissions. Why? Simply for the fun as well as practice. Still, I do have commission slots, and I do have a few easy to follow rules that will help ensure you have the best quality manipulation that I am capable of.
YES to equine, canine, and feline subjects. To jewelry, horns, most other magical effects.
NO to any other species not listed, including human/oid, birds, etc. To wings, to pure background designs, to character designs, to more than two subjects.
WAIT TIME is about a week and a half long per piece, with exception to more complex pieces that may feature more than one subject.

Nobody in particular, though you may call me Cy or Cyon. I have varying interest in digital art, traditional art, anything modern and simplistically designed, Shakespeare, theater, the big city, music, and I practically bleed coffee as per West Coast tradition. I'm also a gemini, so let that explain why I'm terrible at self introductions. ^^;

Studying is super important. Whether its lighting, movement, or the various aspects of painting, take the time to review plenty of tutorials and even give a few a try! I personally found digital painting tutorials very helpful, but I also paid close attention to real-life images for lighting and movement and drew inspiration from those (along with plenty of fantasy tv shows and films). Whenever I feel out of my element with something I'll seek out several examples to help give me an idea of how to go forward.
Setting focal points is also a key aspect to great art as it not only will draw the viewer's eye to the main aspect of the art piece, but help emphasise the overall feeling of the piece. I'm a firm believer that every art piece has it's own set of emotions the artist put into the piece and that emphasizing those feelings will give it life. You never want to force something to be what it's not, if you're angry then you'll struggle to make a piece that's happy, instead you should embrace that emotion and run with it. Not only will it make you feel better, it will be projected into the art too!
